Exterior Drainage System

Stop water before it ever touches your basement. We waterproof and drain at the foundation wall itself for the most complete protection available.

The Solution

Defense at the source—waterproofing the foundation from the outside.

An exterior drainage system addresses water at its origin, before it can penetrate your foundation. We carefully excavate down to the footing, clean and repair the foundation wall, then apply a waterproof membrane that seals out moisture.

Next, we install a footing drain (often called a French drain) in clean stone and filter fabric, which channels groundwater away from your home. Backfill is restored and graded to direct surface water away from the foundation.

Exterior systems are the most thorough form of waterproofing because they keep water out of the foundation entirely—protecting both your basement and the structural integrity of the wall.
